The opportunity:

In this role you will be responsible for the creation of detailed and accurate drill & blast plans, considering safety, productivity, and environmental factors.

Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement in drill & blast techniques, productivity, and operational costs, and develop strategies to implement business improvement principles.

Provide technical guidance and support to the operational team to ensure the safe and effective execution of drill & blast activities.

This role is offered on an 8:6 FIFO roster ex Perth.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of experience working as an Underground Mining Engineer in a gold mining environment.
• Sound knowledge of drill & blast techniques
• Exposure to Deswik software (preferable)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic setting.
• Australian Working Rights essential.
