We are currently representing a major civil contractor in QLD who require a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team. Our client is a premier building and civil construction company, providing expert engineering services for over 40 years. Operating in Western Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland, they are an Australian-owned and operated firm renowned for excellence in handling intricate, multi-disciplined projects.

Working across on one of Queensland’s landmark highway projects you will assist report into the current Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting quality metrics and areas for improvement.
• Perform regular internal audits to assess compliance.
• Provide guidance on quality standards to project teams.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance team members’ understanding of quality processes.
• Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Ensure project activities align with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of DTMR experience.
• 5 years experience in Quality Assurance in civil sector.
• Familiar with SMEC, redline drawings and reports.
• Qualified Civil Engineer.
