• $45ph-$48ph + super + salary sacrifice + Weekend 75% Sunday loading

The Opportunity:

Our client is one of Australia’s high quality, leading Aged Care Providers with various facilities across the whole of Perth where they provide Low, High and Dementia specific care as well as Extra Services.

We now are seeking a Registered Nurse who can work 2 Permanent Part Time Night Shifts each week to cover a Sunday and Monday nights.

You will be looking after 33 beds in this beautiful, quaint little facility which has a homely feel with wonderful staff. You will be on night shift with Med Comp Carers and a couple of other general carers

Responsibilities include:

• Provide high quality, safe and effective nursing care that aligns with individual resident preferences and best practice
• Updating and following care plans
• Ensure aged care standards are met and adhered too
• Coach, mentor and supervise all junior staff & carers on shift
• Undertake clinical, social and self-care assessments if necessary
• SIRS – dealing with falls and incident reporting
• Ensure all care documentation is completed
• Anticipate residents’ changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals
• Support residents by addressing queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns

Skills and experience required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly focused on person centred care practice
• Nursing qualification and current professional AHPRA registration
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation is desirable
• National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
• Current influenza and COVID vaccinations notifications (or approved exemptions)
