• $45ph-$48ph + super + salary sacrifice + PM/Night Shift 15% additional loading

The Opportunity:

Our client is one of Australia’s high quality, leading Aged Care Providers with various facilities across the whole of Perth where they provide Low, High and Dementia specific care as well as Extra Services.

We now are seeking Registered Nurses who can work AM, PM or Night Shifts where you will be responsible for providing high quality care to residents.

Here are the current permanent part time shifts which we have available:

• AM Shifts – Sunday and Monday – 0700 – 1500
• PM Shifts – Thursday and Friday – 1445 – 2215
• Night Shifts – Monday to Thursday – 2200 – 0715

Responsibilities include:

• Provide high quality, safe and effective nursing care that aligns with individual resident preferences and best practice
• Updating and following care plans
• Ensure aged care standards are met and adhered too
• Coach, mentor and supervise all junior staff & carers on shift
• Undertake clinical, social and self-care assessments if necessary
• SIRS – management and reporting
• Ensure all care documentation is completed with appropriate strategies implemented
• Anticipate residents’ changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals
• Support residents by addressing queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns
• Support, coach, monitor and mentor the unregulated care workers
• Complete ACFI documentation and assessment processes where applicable

Skills and experience required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly focused on person centred care practice
• Nursing qualification and current professional AHPRA registration
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation is desirable
• Knowledge of and experience in ACFI (Aged Care Funding Instrument) is desirable
• National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
• Current influenza and COVID vaccinations notifications (or approved exemptions)
