Zenith Registered Nurse – Nights – Sunday to Wednesday

• $40ph-$50ph + Super
• RN – Night Shifts – Full Time or Part Time – Sunday to Wednesday
• 95 Beds – Great Staff to Patient Ratio

Our client:

One of our leading clients has 2 exciting opportunities for RNs to join their winning aged care nursing team working in a Permanent Full Time or Part Time capacity covering Night Shifts. You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to their elderly clients with the support of a team of carers lead by a Med Comp Carer.

Located in Bicton, our client has been caring for elderly West Australian’s for over 50 years. As a family run business, everything the dedicated team do is built on care and compassion, with the resident at the heart and soul of our person-centred care model.

They provide Residential Aged Care and Transitional Care Program services and are currently looking for 2 Registered Nurses reporting to the Clinical Nurse Managers. You will be responsible for delivering best practice person centred clinical care, aligned with the Clinical Governance Framework and Aged Care Quality Standards.

We have the following 2 Night Shift RN Positions / Shifts available:

• Transitional Care – Sunday to Wednesday – 4 Night Shifts – 50 Beds with Med Comp Carer
• Residential Aged Care – Monday to Wednesday – 3 Night Shifts – 95 Beds with Med Comp Carer

Key Responsibilities of this role:

• Ensure compliance with the new single set of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Drive clinical excellence
• Lead the team of carers
• SIRS management – dealing with falls and incidents
• Medication management and administration
• Chronic pain management
• Updating care plans and assessments
• Supporting the residents’ families and listening to feedback and requests
• Wound management
• Assist in the management of complaints and procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse in an Aged Care Setting
• Good clinical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
