Zenith Registered Nurse – Night Shifts – TCP

• $45ph-$50ph + super + 12.5% PM Shift Loading
• Night Shifts – Sunday to Wednesday every week
• Bicton location – Transitional Care Program – 36 Beds

Our Client:

One of our leading clients has an exciting opportunity to join their winning aged care nursing team working in a Permanent Part Time Position working in their Transitional Care area which has 36 beds.

They provide Residential and TCP services and are currently looking for a Registered Nurse who can commit to 4 permanent part time night shifts working Sunday – Wednesday every single week. You will be responsible for delivering best practice person centred clinical care, aligned with the Clinical Governance Framework and Aged Care Quality Standards.

As Lead RN in Charge on Night Shift on TCP, we are looking for our ideal applicant to be reliable, highly motivated, adaptable, and willing to be actively involved in ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered and inspire others to achieve the very best outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

• Ensure compliance with the new single set of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Dealing with falls, undertaking assessments, intervention and observation
• Medication administration
• Supervising carers on shift and providing direction
• Clinical decision making
• Updating care plans and assessments
• SIRS management – incident reporting and investigation
• Supporting the residents’ families and listening to feedback and requests
• Wound management
• Assist in the management of complaints and procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse in an Aged Care or Hospital Setting
• Good clinical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards

What you can expect:

• $45-$50ph + super
• 12.5% additional Night Shift Loading equating to $5-$7ph extra on base rate
• 75% additional Sunday loading equating to an hourly rate of over $90ph++
