Zenith Registered Nurse – Night Shifts – 40 BEDS

• $40ph-$50ph + super – depending on your experience
• 12.5% additional Night Shift Uplift

Our Client:

One of our leading Residential Aged Care clients has several facilities near Perth and they have recently passed their accreditation last month with 100% so this really is a great place to work. Additionally, they have a caring and ‘family friendly’ company culture which is reflected in their low staff turnover and excellent staff to patient ratio’s.

They provide Residential and TCP services and are currently looking for Registered Nurses reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager and Director. You will be responsible for delivering best practice person centred clinical care, aligned with the Clinical Governance Framework and Aged Care Quality Standards.

The Exciting Opportunity:

We have 2 exciting opportunities for Night Shift RNs to work Monday to Wednesday each week on a Permanent Part Time Position – looking after approx. 40 beds with the aid of 1 Med Comp Carer and 3 additional General Carers. This is the low care area of the facility.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

• Deliver high quality aged care to residents
• Ensure compliance with the new Aged Care Quality Standards
• Drive clinical excellence
• Supervise and direct care staff
• Updating care plans and assessments
• Administering medication
• SIRS management
• Supporting the residents’ families and listening to feedback and requests
• Wound care management

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Preferably Aged Care Experience – will consider RNs from a different background
• Good clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
