The opportunity…

We are searching the WA market for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Operations Manager to assist in the continued growth of a HIGHLY successful and growing civil contractor in Perth. With a healthy order book of current projects and the pipeline looking VERY STRONG this is a prime time to join and ride the next wave of major resource sector projects happening here in Western Australia.

As the Operations Manager you will take full responsibility of this business unit ranging from pre-contracts through to award, delivery and hand over including all business development with existing and new clients.

Projects vary in size and complexity from $5m through to $80m and predominately focus on structures, concrete and some detailed earthworks only within the resource sector.

Your background…

A minimum of 5 – 10+ years working in Australia for civil / structures and concrete contractors on remote resources projects. You must be committed to working as a team and have excellent contractual, commercial and technical skills combined with effective communication skills and HIGH levels of drive, motivation and the desire to succeed.

This may suit a Senior Project Manager currently hitting the “glass ceiling” in a larger tier 1 or tier 2 who is looking to expand and growth other aspects of their skillset other than pure “delivery” / site based positions.

Market leading salary starting FROM $250k – $350k + base + super depending on your experience. You will have the opportunity to continue the growth of an already well established business turning over between $120m – $180m p/annum.
