The Opportunity:

Our client is a successful specialist engineering and construction company that delivers high-performing assets for the energy, resources and infrastructure industries.

They have been engaged to complete the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) scope of the major gas project. Construction is coming to an end and the project is moving into commissioning therefore you will have previous

We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis.

The role:

• Update, implement and drive safety procedures, policies, systems and processes.
• Mentor and lead a team of safety advisors and others within the management team and business.
• Lead safety and incident investigations.
• Injury management and return to work.
• Monitor all financial aspects within Health and Safety.
• Stay up to date with legislative changes and ensure the company remains compliant.
• Conduct audits, site inspections and walkthroughs.
• Lead a team of safety advisors.
• Liaising and communicating with stakeholders – clients and other contractors.

The Requirements:

• Relevant HSE/WHS qualifications.
• 3+ years experience as a safety professional.
• Experience in Project Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning in construction/engineering environments.
• A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
• Previous experience leading a team/having direct reports.
