THE ROLE

Zenith Search have partnered with IGO for the delivery of a core workforce for long-term electricial maintenance at the Cosmos Nickel mine. IGO have strong, embedded values and a culture of caring for their people and stakeholders. This is an exciting time to join the miner during a period of growth and be involved with the development of what will be a high-quality nickel concentrate mine meeting the rising market demand for nickel-rich lithium-ion batteries.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, your role will provide vital scheduled, breakdown and electrical commissioning maintenance support all aspects of the surface mineral processing plant. The ability to prioritize critical tasks, work under pressure and your strong fault finding and troubleshooting ability will be key to your success in this role.

In addition to the technical capability that you will bring to the role, you will be a key driver in establishing the early culture of the mine and will champion the spirit of collaboration, cooperation, safe and professional ethical standards.

This role is for the tradesperson looking to establish a long-term career with a pioneering nickel miner and will gain exposure to innovative world class mining technology.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITY

• Manual C Class Drivers Licence or above
• WA A Grade Electrical Licence
• Minimum 3 Years Mining, Underground or Heavy Industrial Experience
• Instrumentation Technician Qualifications (Desirable but not essential)
• National Police Clearance (Valid within 2 Months)
• High Risk Work Licence with Desirable Endorsements of Forklift OR EWP
• Working at Heights & Confined Space
• Exposure to SAP or Pronto for inventory management and parts ordering
