Zenith Exploration Manager

Our client is an ASX-listed Junior explorer with high-value assets spread accross Western Australia. This is an opportunity to join them as they advance projects accross their Gold and Lithium projects.

As the Exploration Manager , you will drive the exploration efforts across the tenement portfolio. This is a pivotal role that encompasses strategic planning, budgeting, target generation, technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and internal and external stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set strategic direction, budget, and oversight for exploration activities, from target generation to reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to the company’s overall growth strategy.
• Lead and mentor a Senior Exploration Geologist and manage contractors for field programs.
• Liaise with stakeholders including Traditional Owners, pastoralists, contractors, and the board.
• Provide support to Tenement Management.
• Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and investor roadshows.
• Identify acquisition targetsand growth opportunities and pitch commercial ideas to the Board.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with proficiency in target generation and prioritization.
• Commercial acumen for drafting ASX announcements and investor engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in QGIS and willingness to adapt to the company’s software ecosystem.
• Experience in Gold and Lithium exploration.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to manage a team effectively.
