Located in Bicton, our client has been caring for elderly West Australian’s for over 50 years. As a family run business, everything the dedicated team do is built on care and compassion, with the resident at the heart and soul of our person-centred care model

They provide Residential Aged Care, Memory Support and TCP services. Our ideal applicant is an experienced CNM with a strong understanding of the Aged Care Standards and how to deliver high levels of clinical excellence within a residential aged care setting.

The Exciting Opportunity:

We have a very exciting opportunity to tell you about as we are currently seeking a Permanent Positions Available in a beautiful small facility of 46 beds which has recently passed Accreditation with 100% so there will be no nasty surprises when you start. We are looking for a talented CNM who is passionate about Aged Care.

• 46 bed facility which includes 27 Dementia Beds and 19 Low Care Beds
• Responsible for the overall Clinical Care on one floor within the facility and leading your clinical team to deliver clinical excellence and high-quality care
• Delivering and coordinating training together with formal teaching to take clinical care in the facility to the next level
• Responsible for competencies of staff, identifying gaps through performance reviews and on the job training
• SIRS – incident reporting – ensuring a robust post fall advanced care plan is put into practice
• Collaborating closely with residents’ families – dealing with any queries or complaints
• Provide reporting on clinical indicators in line with benchmarking and audits
• Attending family conferences
• Ensure delivery of outstanding Clinical Care is always the number 1 priority for the clinical team whilst identifying, reporting, and consulting with all residents and families to resolve any

About You:

• Must be a current AHPRA Registered Nurse with Residential Aged Care Experience
• Basic knowledge of ACFI and ANAAC funding
• Current National Police Clearance with Covid and Flu Vaccination
• Must have recent Aged Care facility experience working as a CNM
• Strong clinical decision making
• Staff management and leadership
