ROSTER: 8/6 Day Shift Only OR 8/6, 7/7 Day Shift/Night Shift

LOCATION: Cosmos Nickel Operation (FIFO Ex-Perth or DIDO from surrounding areas)

THE ROLE

We have partnered with a major nickel miner with strong, embedded values and a culture of caring for their people and stakeholders. Our client is experiencing an exciting period of growth with the development of what will be a high-quality nickel concentrate mine meeting the rising market demand for nickel-rich lithium-ion batteries.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your role will provide vital scheduled, breakdown and commissioning maintenance support to the underground crushing and screening plant, surface infrastructure, pumps and support equipment throughout the mine. The ability to prioritize critical tasks, work under pressure and your strong fault finding and troubleshooting ability will be key to your success in this role.

In addition to the technical capability that you will bring to the role, you will be a key driver in establishing the early culture of the mine and will champion the spirit of collaboration, cooperation, safe and professional ethical standards.

This role is for the tradesperson looking to establish a long-term career with a pioneering nickel miner and will gain exposure to innovative world class mining technology.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITY

• Manual C Class Drivers Licence or above
• Australian Recognised Trade Qualification – Boilermaker or equivalent
• Minimum 3 Years Crushing and Screening Fitting Experience
• National Police Clearance (Valid within 2 Months)
• High Risk Work Licence with Desirable Endorsements of Forklift, EWP, Non-Slewing Crane, Dogman or Basic Rigging
• Working at Heights & Confined Space
• Exposure to SAP or Pronto for inventory management and parts ordering
